About the project
Created in 2019, as part of the climate governance strategy developed by BVRio for Rondônia, AmazoniAtiva was created as a digital hub to enhance the marketing, sales logistics and business management, of the products featured on it, contributing to the development of the bioeconomy in the Amazon.
Its development was a partnership between the Secretariat for Environmental Development of Rondônia and resources of NORAD (Norwegian International Cooperation Agency), through the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Task Force of Governors for Climate and Forests (GCF).

Through free training, mentoring and support to the platform’s partners, valuing local culture and promoting the autonomy of these social groups.
We value indigenous people and communities, and the micro and small entrepreneurs of the Amazon, the guardians of the forest. Learn about the diversity of amazing products that only the natural resources of the forest are able to generate, and discover how the standing forest contributes to the balance of the planet and to our well-being.
