All personal information collected will be used to help make your visit on our site, applications, and services, the more productive and enjoyable as possible. It is important to BVRio to guarantee the confidentiality of the personal data of users of our site. This document clarifies what user information is collected by BVRio in our systems (Apps, Site and services), and how this information is handled and used.
The use of our systems implies the acceptance of our privacy policy. BVRio reserves the right to change the terms of this privacy policy. Therefore, we recommend that you refer to our privacy policy on a regular basis in order to be always up to date.
Collection and use of personal information provided voluntarily by the user
Some services or functionalities of the System require the user to fill out a form or register with personal information. BVRio maintains information of personal identification – such as name, phone, email, company, etc. Additionally, BVRio register queries and transactions made by users. BVRio’s privacy policy allows personal information provided voluntarily by users to be used for different purposes, consistent with the objectives and purposes of the services assessed. For example
- Personal information will be used in the normal course of use of the System, including the confirmation of the user’s registration within the System, communications about the System and related services, use of our services, queries or transactions;
- Some of the services offered by BVRio require a direct contact between users, such as the use of our trading platforms. In these cases, BVRio can provide other users with some of your personal information (name and contacts). In such cases, BVRio will ask for your authorization before transmitting to the other user your personal information. BVRio can also make available tools allowing a direct communication between users (chat), to facilitate the exchange of information on commercial or technical specifications. These tools should not be used for the exchange of contacts and/or personal data of the user or third parties. BVRio is not responsible for the misuse of these tools;
- If any of our fee-based services are used, we will need to require purchase-related information (such as your credit card number, billing address, and related information), and we may need to use this information to complete your purchase. We also will be able to provide this information, or other personal information provided by you to third parties when necessary to complete your transaction, for example, to process the credit card billing
In the following cases, the information will not be considered personal information and, therefore, will not be subject to confidentiality: (a) when the information was already in the public domain at the time they were received, or become of public domain without infringing the terms of this privacy policy; (b) when the information is held by the parties on a non-confidential mode, and was received from third parties without infringing the terms of BVRio’s privacy policies; or (c) when the disclosure of the information is required by law, regulation or administrative decision, judicial or arbitration.
Only BVRio authorized staff, its affiliates and partners will have access to your personal information, and should use such information consistently with our privacy policy. BVRio undertakes not to sell, rent or transfer your information to third parties, except for the cases provided for in this privacy policy. No personal information may be publicly disclosed. In the event of a sale or transfer of the System (or part of it), all personal information collected by us may be transferred to this new party, in accordance with the terms of this privacy policy. Personal information may be made available to third parties if required for the fulfillment of the law (including court orders or subpoenas).
Collection and use of non-personal information obtained from the use of the System
Like most internet services, or we may use a standard feature, usually found in your internet browser, called ‘cookie’, and other technologies such as web beacons and pixel tags. These technologies are designed to help us better understand the behavior and needs of our users.
By cookie we mean an anonymous and random identification number that is registered on your computer. It help us to account how many times you access our sites. In addition, other information is collected, such as IP address, geographic location, reference source, browser type, duration of visit and pages visited. Cookies do not identify the user, but only the computer used to access our sites. Unless you voluntarily identify yourself (filling a registration form, for example), we will not know who you are, even if we use a cookie in your browser. The only personal information retained is the information you provide. A cookie cannot access the data from your hard drive. We do not link the information collected from the cookies with the user personal information. You can disable cookies at any time by changing the preferences of your Web browser. Sponsors or advertisers can leave their own cookies on your browser, a process that we cannot control. Web beacons are tiny graphics with a unique identification, with similar function to cookies. Unlike cookies, which are stored on the user’s hard drive, web beacons are embedded in Web pages. Web beacons do not collect personal identification information.
As the personal identification information does not identify the user, we maintain the right to use them for any purpose, including sharing with third parties. In the case of a combination of non-personal information with personal information, this combination will be treated as personal information, while they are combined.
Third-Party Sites; sharing on social networks
Our sites may include links to other websites that are not covered by our privacy policy. By clicking on these third party websites, the use of any information that you provide on another website is subject to the privacy policy of the site you are visiting. These companies may have privacy policies and practices different from ours.
By clicking on the buttons to share content on social medias available on our pages, you will be publishing content through your profile on the selected network. BVRio does not have access to the login and password of users on those networks, nor will publish content on behalf of the user without that he perform this action.
