Em parceria com a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservation.org\/brasil\">Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ecosecurities.com\/\">EcoSecurities<\/a> e CICLOS, ser\u00e1 estruturado um mecanismo financeiro para atrair investimentos, em especial oriundos do mercado volunt\u00e1rio de carbono.<\/p>\n<p>O mecanismo contemplar\u00e1 um sistema de governan\u00e7a com participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos principais atores locais e ter\u00e1 como meta a prote\u00e7\u00e3o dos remanescentes de Mata Atl\u00e2ntica que existem na regi\u00e3o &#8211; considerada uma das mais biodiversas do bioma &#8211; e a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1reas de preserva\u00e7\u00e3o permanente e de Reserva Legal para forma\u00e7\u00e3o de corredores. O foco desta primeira fase do projeto \u00e9 a regi\u00e3o do Mosaico de \u00c1reas Protegidas do Extremo Sul da Bahia, que abriga quatro importantes parques nacionais (Abrolhos, Pau Brasil, Monte Pascoal e Descobrimento) e um conjunto de terras ind\u00edgenas da etnia Patax\u00f3, al\u00e9m de cerca de 40 Reservas Particulares do Patrim\u00f4nio Natural.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A BVRio iniciou um novo projeto, em parceria com a Conserva\u00e7\u00e3o Internacional, EcoSecurities e CICLOS chamado &#8220;Iniciativa Carbono &#038; Florestas&#8221;.
